#01 The Cocoon | Piano Sheet Music | Composed by Mairtin O'Connor (DOWNLOAD)
This is the first in a series of piano arrangements of my favourite melodies. Máirtín O Connor, from Galway, is an incredible accordion player and composer of beautiful tunes. I have always loved his work and this piece appears as a melody in his book Inside the Box Outside the Box, Original Compositions, published by Arcona. When he heard it, the composer wrote: “Beautifully played, Annette. Many thanks, Máirtín”.
This arrangement can be played by students who have reached Grade 3 or above and is dedicated to my mother, Ethna, without whose support I might never have been a musician.
